An established copywriter, Stephen tailors his engaging style to suit the channel, the audience and the subject matter – whether that’s composing a concise tweet, writing a compelling press release, briefing and advising senior leaders on sensitive issues, or pitching stories to national journalists and broadcasters. 

Working in the press office of a vibrant, busy central London local authority, Stephen has secured positive stories in the national press including The Times and The Guardian, led as media liaison on high-profile events including two General Election counts, and secured national and regional TV and radon coverage, including on the BBC’s The One Show. 

Previously, as new editor of a number of London newspaper and websites, Stephen led a team of journalists is a fast-paced news environment. In his spare time, he is a music critic, design aficionado and extremely amateur guitarist.
